Free pets!

Topic: Battlegrounds|

We’re finding that some days people like to have a social life and not play WoW. While this is good for them, it limits what I can do as less people are on (yes I do take days off myself on occasion). Anyway, while waiting for people to sign on so we could have a group to run things, I jump into some BGs. It’s been a while since I have been there and there’s rumors of cool pets and “eh” tabards being available. Not one to miss out on a cool pet, we go running for an Eye of the Storm with one of our hunter guildies. First time in, we win, we get tabard and chinese dragon guy. Super cool.

He looks even better in blue. Anyway, after we get him we decide to continue running some Bgs. Since I’m amassing a small group (we are 3) when we get into AV, I’m the battleground leader. Now I take things like this seriously. I want to win, if I’m designated leader, I’m going to open my mouth and do something about it.

AV starts, all is well, I start directing traffic – get Galv, cap towers, group up, go get RH, we cant wait for RH to cap (30 seconds) X and Y are the tanks – keep them up and lets go.

We win. Very nice. Try it again – Vuur’s not the leader – disorganized chaos, we lose.
Off to an AB so we don’t ruin our luck. Vuur’s BG leader again. I personally think AB is one of the easiest to win. Its all about staying 1 step ahead of the other team. You take my stables? I’ll take your farm. You send 3 people after my BS, I’ll defend until you come back with a real threat. LM is getting overwhelmed? Find out where they are not. GM? ok lets take that. AB is fluid, you dont have to hold something the entire time, in fact, its pretty hard to just camp 3 places and defend. People don’t like standing still, they get restless and impatient so we play a style that caters to that and still is successful.

On an unrelated note, I had my mage and my lock on at the same time for mana biscuits…They do look pretty similar…
